San Jose Sharks Sign Forward

The Sharks have signed Steven Lorentz to a two-year contract. He will carry a $1.05 million cap hit. 

The Sharks recently acquired Lorentz from the Hurricanes as a part of the Brent Burns blockbuster. Heading into 2022-23, he is expected to compete for a spot in San Jose's bottom six. When looking at their current roster, he shouldn't have too much trouble in making this come to fruition.

Lorentz played in 67 games this past season with the Hurricanes, where he set new career-highs with eight goals and 13 points. It will be intriguing to see what he does for an encore this upcoming season as a Shark.
