After spending the past two seasons in the Eastern Conference, goaltender Aaron Dell has made his way back to San Jose, re-signing with the Sharks on a one-year deal.

After a solid start to his NHL career with the Sharks, Dell has had a rough ride the past couple of years out east. This past season with the Buffalo Sabres, Dell registered a 1-8-1 record, with an .893 save percentage. His record in the AHL was decidedly better, however, at 12-7-1 with a .909 save percentage at Rochester.
He won't crack the Sharks' goaltending duo Adin Hill and Kappo Kahkonen, but he will provide nice organizational depth, as he's certainly shown in the past the ability to step in between the pipes. Dell had a .908 save percentage in his four seasons in San Jose, with a 48-34-12 record.
