Vegas Golden Knights Sign Defenseman To PTO

The Golden Knights have signed William Riedell to a professional tryout contract.

After completing a four-year stint with Lake Superior State University, Riedell spent this past season with Ohio State University, where he had three goals and seven assists in 33 games. Following that, the 25-year-old defenseman played his first two professional games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. With the AHL squad, he had zero points and a minus-1 rating.

Riedell will be aiming to impress at training camp for the opportunity of signing a two-way deal with Vegas. It will be intriguing to see if he is successful in his efforts.
