At this juncture, Eriksson is unlikely to find a new home in the NHL. The 16-year veteran's scoring touch rapidly declined since he signed with the Canucks back in 2016. In 73 games this past season with the Coyotes, he had just three goals and 19 points.
Yet, Eriksson's passion for the game is still there, so expect him to find a home overseas. Whether he goes home to Sweden or moves on to Switzerland, it should be a fun experience for the winger. In 1,050 career NHL games, he had 253 goals, 360 assists, and 613 points.
