Krejci left the Bruins this past offseason to play back home in the Czech Republic with HC Olomouc. The Bruins certainly missed their longtime second-line center after he left, but now, the 36-year-old is ready to take over that spot yet again.
During the 2020-21 season with the Bruins, Krejci scored eight goals and recorded a solid 44 points in 51 contests. If he can replicate that kind of production this campaign, it could be exactly the kind of jolt Boston needs to be more of a threat again.
In 962 NHL career games, all with Boston, Krejci has 215 goals, 515 assists, and 730 points.
