Boston Bruins Re-Sign Patrice Bergeron
The Boston Bruins have officially re-signed Patrice Bergeron to a one-year, $2.5 million contract. It also comes with another $2.5 million in attainable performance bonuses, according to Frank Seravalli.

Bergeron made it clear that he would either play the 2022-23 season with the Bruins or retire. Thankfully for Boston, he has elected to go with the former and has signed a very team-friendly deal.1 x $2.5 mil with another $2.5 mil in attainable performances bonuses. https://t.co/3TXjDDwqx3

Bergeron just had himself another excellent season in 2021-22 and won his NHL-record fifth Selke Trophy. In 73 games on the year, he had 25 goals and 40 helpers.
Overall, this is obviously a great signing for the Bruins. Let's see how Bergeron performs in his 19th season as a Bruin from here.
