Buffalo Sabres Sign Forward
Riley Sheahan is once again a member of the Buffalo Sabres, as he has signed a one-year, two-way contract with the club. With that, he will carry a $950,000 cap hit at the NHL level.
Sheahan played for the Seattle Kraken this past season, where he recorded 17 points in 69 games. Overall, he produced fairly well while playing bottom-six minutes, and he will be hoping to continue this trend during his second stint at a Sabre.
Sheahan was a member of the Sabres during the 2020-21 season. In 53 games, he scored four goals and had nine assists. Overall, he will likely be a solid depth forward for them again. Let's see how he does this time around.
