Nashville Predators Sign Forward To PTO

The Nashville Predators have signed Cole Schneider to a professional tryout contract.

Schneider hasn't played in the NHL since the 2016-17 season as a member of the Buffalo Sabres. In six career NHL games, he has an assist and a plus-2 rating. Although it has been a long time since he has signed an NHL contract, that is what he will be pushing for during this PTO.

Schneider spent this last season as captain of the Milwaukee Admirals, Nashville's AHL affiliate. In 71 games, he scored 30 goals and recorded 60 points. Overall, it's clear that he is plenty good enough to get himself another AHL deal from Nashville, but let's see if he impresses enough to compete for a spot on their NHL roster this upcoming season.
