Vegas Golden Knights & San Jose Sharks Complete Trade
The Vegas Golden Knights have acquired Adin Hill from the San Jose Sharks in exchange for a 2024 fourth-round pick.
Earlier this offseason, it was announced that Robin Lehner would be out for the entirety of the 2022-23 campaign. As a result, it makes sense that the Golden Knights have decided to bring in another NHL-caliber netminder in Hill as his replacement.
Hill's lone season as a Shark went fairly solidly in 2021-22, as he had a 10-11-1 record, .906 SV%, and 2.66 GAA. Although he wasn't dominant, he can form a decent tandem with Logan Thompson while Laurent Brossoit is out. Let's see how Hill performs as a Golden Knight from here.
