2 Anaheim Ducks to Miss Time
The Anaheim Ducks have provided injury updates regarding Sam Carrick and John Moore. Carrick had hip surgery to repair a torn labrum back in May and will not be back with the team until at least November. Moore, on the other hand, is still dealing with concussion symptoms and is not cleared to play.
Carrick just put up a career year for the Ducks in 2021-22 and cemented himself a bottom-six role because of it. After years of being an AHLer, Carrick appeared in a career-high 64 games, where he scored 11 goals and recorded 19 points. With that, he was an immensely physical player, as his 85 penalty minutes show perfectly. Missing this element in the lineup will sting for the Ducks.
Moore, on the other hand, has yet to make his debut for the Ducks since being traded there as a part of the Hampus Lindholm trade last season. It's truly unfortunate to hear that he is still feeling symptoms, and given the fact that it is a head injury, he absolutely cannot be rushed back.
Here's to hoping both players have speedy recoveries from here.
