Beaulieu spent this past season with the Winnipeg Jets, where he had four assists and a minus-7 rating in 24 games. He was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins, but he was never able to suit up for a game with the club due to injury. His injury trouble is likely why he has not been able to find a home for the 2022-23 season yet, but he will be aiming to change that with the Ducks from here.
When looking at the Ducks' defensive group, it's fair to say that Beaulieu could be a fit on their bottom pair. The 6-foot-2 defenseman's physical play could be valuable for them to add to their defensive group, so it will be intriguing to see if a deal can come to fruition.
In 419 career games over 10 NHL seasons, Beaulieu has 12 goals, 82 assists, and 94 points.
