The Arizona Coyotes will be without Andrew Ladd, as the 36-year-old has failed his physical and will be placed on LTIR as a result.
Coyotes forward Andrew Ladd did not pass his physical & will go on LTIR. His thrice surgically repaired knee is still an issue.

Per terms of the trade that brought him to AZ last summer, the Coyotes will get the conditional 2023 3rd-round pick they acquired from the Islanders.
Due to Ladd not being able to play, the Coyotes are now receiving the conditional third-round pick from the New York Islanders. The condition of this move was that they would receive the Islanders' third-rounder if Ladd was unable to play in 2022-23. Due to this failed physical, he, unfortunately, will not be able to.
Ladd's knee is once again the reason behind why he will be out again, and it's truly a shame. He has had surgery on it three times, but it continues to provide problems for him. Therefore, this could very well be the end of the veteran's career.
In 1,001 career games, Ladd has 256 goals, 294 assists, and 550 points.
