Calgary Flames Forward Returns to Practice

Andrew Mangiapane missed the first four days of training camp due to a lower-body injury. Yet, it appears that the Calgary Flames forward is feeling much better now, as he was a full participant in practice on Monday.

This is certainly good news, as had Mangiapane's injury lasted until the start of the regular season, that would have been rough for the Flames. The 26-year-old is set to take on a bigger role this campaign after the departures of Matthew Tkachuk and Johnny Gaudreau. The Toronto native will be aiming to build off of his breakout season, and he of course needs to be healthy to do that.

In 82 games this past season, Mangiapane set new career-highs with 35 goals, 20 assists, and 55 points. Let's see what he does for an encore in 2022-23.
