The 23-year-old Durzi burst onto the scene last season after injuries to Drew Doughty and Sean Walker opened up some opportunity on the right side of the Kings blue line. Durzi finished with 27 points in 64 games and led the team with 121 blocked shots.
Durzi also suited up in the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time and was a force, playing over 21 minutes of ice-time a game and chipped in with three points in seven postseason games.
Durzi was originally a second-round draft pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs and was traded along with Carl Grundstrom and a 2019 first-round pick for defenseman Jake Muzzin.
