Montreal Canadiens Forwards Injured to Start Training Camp
The Montreal Canadiens opened up training camp this week and won't be hitting the ice with full capacity. Forwards Josh Anderson is out day-to-day with an upper body injury, meanwhile freshly named captain Nick Suzuki is expected to miss at least two weeks, also dealing with an upper body injury.
Injury news already from Canadiens training camp and it's not good: Nick Suzuki (upper body, out two weeks); Josh Anderson (upper body, day-to-day), Joel Edmundson (lower body, undetermined), Jake Evans (upper body, day-to-day). #HabsIO #Habs

Anderson is coming off a 32-point season as he battled inconsistency in 2021-22. He's capable of hitting 30 goals and with his size and speed can impact the game all over the ice in many different ways. Habs fans are hoping the injury bug takes it easy on them this season, but it's not off to a great start.
