NHL Rumors: Latest on Canucks Captain's Future in Vancouver
The Vancouver Canucks have been busy signing some key players to massive contract extensions, including Brock Boeser and J.T Miller. Canucks captain Bo Horvat is next in line and some feel the deal could get done before training camp begins.
Horvat is coming off a fantastic season in 2021-22, recording 31 goals and 52 points in 70 games. The 27-year-old captain is a pending unrestricted free agent, and appears interested in sticking around Vancouver for years to come.
Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman has the latest scoop on Horvat's extension and had this to say recently on the Donnie and Dhali show:
"If J.T. Miller is an 8 million dollar player Bo Horvat who just missed 40 goals isn't far behind if he is behind at all.."@FriedgeHNIC joined the guys to chat about Bo Horvat and his #Canucks future.
