Philadelphia Flyers Goalie to be Ready for Season Opener
While speaking with reporters, Philadelphia Flyers goalie Carter Hart said that his absence from practice is out of caution and that he will be ready for the start of the regular season.
Hart says that he'll be ready for the start of the year. They're being cautious and making sure he's 100% for Game 1.

This is certainly good news for a Flyers team who is already dealing with serious injury trouble. Most notably, Sean Couturier is expected to miss the first few weeks of the season at least due to an ongoing injury. Meanwhile, Ryan Ellis is unexpected to play in 2022-23 and GM Chuck Fletcher said his injury could be season-ending. Yet, the Flyers finally appear to have something going in their favor with Hart's comments.
Hart is heading into this season with the hope of finding his old form. In 45 games last season, he had a 13-24-7 record, 3.16 GAA, and .905 SV%. Those weren't the best numbers, but a new year offers a clean slate. Let's see if Hart takes advantage of it.
