Philadelphia Flyers Place 2 Players on Waivers
The Philadelphia Flyers have placed Isaac Ratcliffe and Linus Sandin on waivers.
Ratcliffe appeared in his first 10 NHL games last season for the Flyers, where he had a goal and three assists. Overall, it wasn't a bad start to the 6-foot-6 forward's career, and there were some who believed that he could compete for a spot in Philly's bottom six. He also had a solid 28 points in 59 games for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on the year. All of this could lead to the 2017 second-round pick getting claimed off waivers.
Sandin, on the other hand, played his first NHL game last season for the Flyers. He also scored eight goals and had 20 points in 36 games for the Phantoms, so all in all, it was a solid AHL season for him. Teams in need of some forward depth could give him a look.
