San Jose Sharks Forward Sidelined With Injury
Alexander Barabanov will be sitting out for the San Jose Sharks, as he is currently dealing with a lower-body injury. Although it is never a good thing to see a player get hurt at camp, the 28-year-old has thankfully only been deemed as day-to-day.
At this juncture, the Sharks can only hope that Barabanov does not suffer any setbacks as he recovers from what seems to be a minor injury. The 28-year-old had a breakout year for the Sharks last season, where he had 10 goals and 39 points in 70 games. Naturally, San Jose wants this kind of offense in their lineup to start the campaign.
It will be intriguing to see how quickly Barabanov returns to the ice. If his day-to-day status stays true, he should be back to practicing well before the regular season begins.
