Seattle Kraken Forward to Have Hearing
You know it is officially hockey season when an NHL Player Safety hearing is set. Seattle Kraken forward Jacob Melanson is the player set to have one for "Interference/Illegal Check to the Head" on Edmonton Oilers forward James Hamblin.

As you can see in the video above, Hamblin has the puck but dumps it into the offensive zone before the play occurs. From there, Melanson throws a blindside hit to the head of Hamblin. This resulted in Melanson receiving a match penalty.
