The professional tryout gives DeKeyser a chance to crack the Canucks lineup without any commitment from either side. The stay-at-home defenseman spent the last decade with the Detroit Red Wings where last season he averaged 18:30 of ice-time a night, meanwhile chipped in with 11 assists in 59 contests.
Vancouver Canucks General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that the club has signed Danny DeKeyser to a professional tryout.

The 6-foot-3 blueliner will have every chance to make the Canucks as they have limited depth on their back end. He'll be battling it out with the likes of Travis Dermott, Kyle Burroughs, and potentially Tucker Poolman, depending on health.
