Vancouver Canucks Winger Has Surgery; Missing Start of Season
The Vancouver Canucks will be starting the season without Brock Boeser, as the winger has had hand surgery. As a result, he will be out for the next three to four weeks.
This is certainly not how the Canucks wanted to start the regular season. Boeser is one of their top forwards, and every team knows the significance of a hot start to the year. Yet, the Canucks will now be down one of their best goal scorers for the first few games of the year at least.
In 71 games this past season, Boeser had 23 goals and 46 points. It will be intriguing to see what he can do this time around, but he will first need to recover from this surgery.
