Vegas Golden Knights Forward Suffers Upper-Body Injury
Vegas Golden Knights forward William Carrier sustained an upper-body injury this past weekend and will be re-evaluated next week.
Upper-body injuries are tricky, so it makes sense that an estimated recovery time has not been determined for the scrappy winger. Hopefully, when Carrier is re-evaluated next week, things regarding his injury will have improved. If so, we could see him in the lineup for Vegas' season opener.
Since the beginning of the Golden Knights' existence, Carrier has been a mainstay in their bottom six. He is their most physical player, as he is constantly recording over 100 hits per season. During the 2021-22 campaign, he had a very solid 20 points in 63 games but also recorded 159 hits. Needless to say, not having this element in the lineup will be rough for Vegas if it carries into the regular season. Here's to hoping he will be good to go by then.
