Video: Joe Thornton Skates With the San Jose Sharks
Earlier this week, it was reported that free-agent forward Joe Thornton was spotted in San Jose. Now, things are getting more intriguing on that front, as the San Jose Sharks' official Twitter page has posted a video of the 43-year-old skating with the team.

Shortly after this, Corey Masisak of The Athletic reported that Thornton has been skating "on and off" with the Sharks since at least the beginning of September.
Joe Thornton has been skating off and on with the Sharks since at least Sept. 1. Dan Boyle has skated with them a few times as well (Boyle said he was “just trying to get back in shape”). Jumbo and Mario Ferraro were (l think) the first guys to wear teal helmets during a skate.

Although the future Hall of Famer is skating with the Sharks, please read the following carefully: Thornton skating with the team does not mean that he has signed a contract or PTO with the Sharks. Of course, that could potentially change, but at the time of this writing, nothing of the sort has come to fruition.
It will be intriguing to see if Thornton and the Sharks end up reuniting. The legend being posted on the club's social media page will naturally raise suspicion, but we will need to see what happens from here.
