Video: Jonathan Huberdeau's First Goal With Calgary Flames
During Sunday's preseason tilt against the Vancouver Canucks, Jonathan Huberdeau scored his first goal in a Calgary Flames jersey.
The goal occurred early on in the second period while the Flames had a 5-on-3 power play. Interestingly, it was a bit of an accidental goal, as Huberdeau initially tried to make a spin-o-rama pass to Tyler Toffoli in front of the net, but it was blocked. Instead, it landed right back on his stick, and he tapped it in.
Although this is nothing more than a preseason goal, it certainly is nice to see that Huberdeau made a solid first impression with the Flames. The star winger will be aiming to bring plenty of that to the regular season this year.
