Video: Nicholas Robertson Scores With Sweet Wrister

Toronto Maple Leafs top prospect Nicholas Robertson is heading into the 2022-23 season with the hope of making the NHL roster. During Wednesday's preseason tilt against the Montreal Canadiens, he may have helped his chances of landing a spot, as he scored on a beautiful, low wrist shot.

This was a perfectly placed shot and exactly what the Leafs want to see from Robertson. Many believe that the 21-year-old has the potential to develop into a top-six forward and sweet offensive plays like this one only help add substance to that belief.

Robertson is coming off of an injury-riddled season, but when he was healthy, he was dominant for the Toronto Marlies. He scored a very impressive 16 goals and recorded 28 points in 28 games. Let's see if the California native can take that next step this season at the NHL level. If he keeps scoring like this, it certainly is possible.
