2 Minnesota Wild Top Prospects Make NHL Roster
The Minnesota Wild have announced that top prospects Marco Rossi and Calen Addison have both made the club's opening night roster.
Rossi will certainly be a player who Wild fans watch closely, as the 2020 ninth-overall pick is viewed as having the potential of becoming a top-six forward later down the road. He is coming off of a very good first season in North America, as he had 18 goals and 53 points in 63 games with the Iowa Wild. Now, he will be aiming to translate that kind of offense over to the sport's most competitive league.
As for Addison, this is a big chance for the 22-year-old to cement himself as a full-time NHL defenseman. He played in 15 games for the Wild last season, where he had two goals and two assists. Down in Iowa with the AHL squad, he had 34 points and 70 penalty minutes in 43 games.
