3 Philadelphia Flyers Placed on Waivers
The Philadelphia Flyers have placed Adam Brooks, Max Willman, and Louis Belpedio on waivers.
Brooks is no stranger to the waiver wire, as he claimed off of them four times last season. In 25 games split between the Montreal Canadiens, Vegas Golden Knights, and Winnipeg Jets last season, he had two goals and an assist. He received plenty of interest last season, so could he be claimed yet again? Perhaps.
Willman played in 41 games last season as a rookie, where he had four goals, two assists, and 53 hits. The 27-year-old could get claimed, but if not, he will be aiming to have a good start with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. If he does, don't be surprised to see him get called up at some point during the year.
As for Belpedio, he has four games of NHL experience. He last appeared in the NHL during the 2020-21 season with the Minnesota Wild. In 69 games this past season with the Laval Rocket of the AHL, the 26-year-old defenseman had 11 goals, 30 points, and 92 penalty minutes.
