Anaheim Ducks Place 2 Players on Waivers

The Anaheim Ducks have placed Danny O'Regan and Austin Strand on waivers.

O'Regan appeared in five games for the Ducks last season, where he recorded an assist and a minus-1 rating. Overall, he was fairly quiet when called up to the NHL squad, but he was also very effective while with the San Diego Gulls. In 53 AHL games this past season, he had 13 goals to go along with 34 points.

Strand, on the other hand, played in eight games for the Los Angeles Kings last season. During them, he had two assists. With the Ontario Reign, his physicality was quite present, as he had 30 penalty minutes to go along with seven points in 32 contests.

Teams in need of some forward depth could take a look at these two. If they clear, they will be heading to San Diego to play for the Gulls.
