Anaheim Ducks Place 2 Players on Waivers

The Anaheim Ducks have placed Olli Juolevi and Justin Kirkland on waivers.

Once viewed as a top prospect with the Vancouver Canucks, Juolevi has yet to cement himself as a full-time NHL player, and that is a trend set to continue at the beginning of the 2022-23 season at least. He split this past season between the Florida Panthers and Detroit Red Wings, where he had zero points in 18 games. 

Kirkland, on the other hand, has yet to play a game at the NHL level, but he is also coming off of the best AHL campaign of his career. In 66 games this past season with the Stockton Heat, he set new career-highs with 25 goals, 23 assists, and 48 points.
