Anaheim Ducks Place Forward on Waivers

The Anaheim Ducks have placed Glenn Gawdin on waivers.

Gawdin signed with the Ducks this offseason after his tenure with the Calgary Flames came to an end. Over the last two seasons, he appeared in nine games for Calgary, where he had an assist and a minus-1 rating. With the Stockton Heat this past season, he had 15 goals to go along with 50 points. Overall, not a bad season at all for the 25-year-old center.

It will be interesting to see if he gets any attention on the waiver wire from here. Teams in need of some forward depth could consider the prospect of claiming him, so we will have to wait and see if that indeed comes to fruition from here.
