Avalanche Make Roster Move
The Colorado Avalanche have called up Anton Blidh to their NHL roster.
The Avalanche recently made some changes to their fourth line, as they placed Lukas Sedlak on waivers and demoted Ben Meyers to the AHL. Therefore, there was room for them to make a call-up, and Blidh is the lucky player to have received one. Now, he will be aiming to cement himself a spot in their bottom six from here.
Blidh is coming off of the best season of his NHL career, as he set new career highs with two goals, seven assists, and nine points with the Boston Bruins. Overall, he had some solid moments in 2021-22, and now he will be aiming to translate that over to Colorado. The 27-year-old also plays with a bit of bite, so he should make an impact in the physical side of the game as well.
