Boston Bruins Defenseman Sent Down to AHL

The Boston Bruins have sent Daniel Renouf back down to the Providence Bruins.

Renouf was just called up to the Bruins following Brandon Carlo's IR placement, but now that Anton Stralman's visa issues have been solved, the 28-year-old defenseman is heading back to Providence. In his lone game during his call-up, Renouf sported a minus-3 rating and did not record a point.

Renouf will now once again be an important part of Providence's blueline from here. Yet, if Boston continues to have injury trouble moving forward, don't be surprised to see him secure another call-up before the year is over.
