Boston Bruins Place Defenseman on IR
The injury bug just will not leave the Boston Bruins alone. Brad Marchand, Charlie McAvoy, Jake DeBrusk, and Matt Grzelcyk are all currently out for the team, and now a new name has been added to the list. After leaving Saturday's game early, Brandon Carlo has been placed on IR.
When it rains, it pours, right? The Bruins are now without another one of their best defensemen for a minimum of one week. The 6-foot-5 defenseman has been playing top-pairing minutes for the Bruins due to the absence of McAvoy, so his absence is very notable. The Bruins will be forced to make more adjustments to their roster because of this.
In 405 career games as a Bruin, Carlo has 21 goals, 49 assists, and 70 points. Here's to hoping that he has the chance to improve upon these numbers shortly.
