Boston Bruins Sign Defenseman
Anton Stralman impressed the Boston Bruins while on his PTO, as he has now inked a one-year, $1 million contract to remain with the team.
Stralman finally gives the Bruins another solid right-handed defenseman - something that they have needed the last few seasons. After Charlie McAvoy (who is starting the season injured) and Brandon Carlo, the right side was looking pretty weak, but now they officially have Stralman as a solid bottom-pairing defenseman.
Stralman played in 74 games last season with the Arizona Coyotes, where he had eight goals to go along with 23 points. If he can produce like that again this season, he should be a pretty solid addition to Boston at the end of the day.
