Buffalo Sabres Place 3 Defensemen on Waivers
The Buffalo Sabres have placed Kale Clague, Jeremy Davies, and Chase Priskie on waivers.
Clague spent this past season split between the Los Angeles Kings and Montreal Canadiens, where he had two goals and 10 points in 36 games. Given the fact that he is 24 years old, there certainly is a chance that a team could elect to give him a chance from here.
Davies spent this past season with the Milwaukee Admirals. Overall, it is fair to say that the 25-year-old played well for the AHL squad, as he had six goals to go along with 25 points. If he clears waivers, he should be a solid contributor from the point for the Rochester Americans.
Priskie primarily played for the Charlotte Checkers last season, where he had eight goals and 31 points in 54 games. Overall, he produced well offensively from the point for the AHL squad. In four games with the Florida Panthers, he had zero points.
