Buffalo Sabres Place Forward on Waivers
The Buffalo Sabres have placed Sean Malone on waivers.
Malone is coming off of a strong 2021-22 season with the Rochester Americans that saw him score 20 goals and record 37 points in 39 games. Naturally, the Sabres are hoping that the 27-year-old will clear waivers because of it. He should continue to be a good center for Buffalo's prospects to play with at the AHL level.
Malone has two games of NHL experience on his resume and has not played a game in the sport's most competitive league since the 2020-21 season. As a result, his placement on the waiver wire was expected. Let's see if the Buffalo native clears from here.
