Buffalo Sabres Place Goaltender on Waivers

The Buffalo Sabres have placed Malcolm Subban on waivers.

The Sabres are heading into this season with Craig Anderson and Eric Comrie as their one-two punch in goal, so it isn't too surprising to see that Subban is hitting the waiver wire. With that, the Sabres also have prospect Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen on the rise, so Subban had a lot going against him when it came to making the Sabres' NHL roster.

Subban appeared in four games for the Sabres last season, where he had a 0-2-1 record, 4.85 GAA, and .871 SV%.
