Calgary Flames Place Forward on waivers

The Calgary Flames have placed Martin Pospisil on waivers.

Pospisil is coming off of a strong season with the Stockton Heat that saw him score seven goals and record 25 points in 47 games. With that, the 6-foot-2 center noticeably left an impact in the physical side of the game, as he racked up 95 penalty minutes. This aggressiveness is what the 22-year-old has become well-known for at this juncture of his career.

If a team is looking for more bite and feel that Pospisil has some upside, they could consider claiming him off waivers. If not, he will return to the AHL for the start of the season.
