Canucks Forward Placed on Waivers

The Vancouver Canucks have placed Phillip Di Giuseppe on waivers. 

Di Giuseppe had been on the Canucks' NHL roster, but he has yet to play in a regular-season game for them this season. Thus, instead of serving as an extra forward for Vancouver, he will be heading to the AHL if he clears waivers. The Canucks will be hoping that he does clear, as he will also become a prime call-up candidate when injuries inevitably arise during the season.

The Abbotsford Canucks will love to have Di Giuseppe back, as he was excellent for them in 2021-22. In 42 games, the 29-year-old scored 12 goals and recorded 36 points. Let's see if that is enough for another team to take a chance on him from here.
