Canucks Make Changes to Roster
After being sent down earlier this week, the Vancouver Canucks have called Nils Hoglander back up to the NHL roster. In response to this, recent call-up Noah Juulsen is heading back to the AHL.
The Canucks sent down Hoglander in an attempt to spice things up after a truly horrendous start. Yet, sending Hoglander down did not change a thing, as Vancouver lost their last game to the Buffalo Sabres by a 5-1 final score. Now, the 21-year-old is getting another chance with the NHL squad and will be aiming to stick around. In four games this season, he has a goal.
Juulsen, on the other hand, has played in two games this season for the Canucks, where he has yet to record a point and has a minus-1 rating. With Quinn Hughes' return on the horizon, it isn't too surprising to see Juulsen heading back to the AHL. Don't be surprised to see him land another call-up as soon as another injury occurs on Vancouver's blueline from here.
