Capitals Forward Summoned from Minors

He got into 12 games with the Washington Capitals last season. 

The Capitals recalled forward Beck Malenstyn from the AHL Hershey Bears on Wednesday.

Malenstyn provides some additional depth for Thursday's game against the Ottawa Senators given that Evgeny Kuznetsov is still suspended and will be ineligible play, and Connor Brown is nowhere near close to returning from his injury. 

The twenty-four-year-old has one goal in 15 career NHL appearances. Last season, Malenstyn put up 10 goals and six assists over 65 games in the minors.
