Dallas Stars Place Goalie on Waivers

The Dallas Stars have placed Anton Khudobin on waivers. 

This isn't too surprising, as Khudobin was dealt this very fate just last season. The one-time playoff hero for the Stars has seen his numbers fall off in recent years, and this has resulted in Dallas making changes in goal. Heading into the year, they will go with a Jake Oettinger-Scott Wedgewood tandem, and this was expected.

Still, teams with cap space and goaltending trouble could decide to claim Khubodin if they believe he can bounce back. In nine games this past season with the Stars, he had a 3-4-1 record, .879 SV%, and 3.63 GAA.
