Edmonton Oilers Place Forward on Waivers
The Edmonton Oilers have placed Brad Malone on waivers.
After not playing in an NHL game since the 2018-19 season, Malone played in eight games for the Oilers last campaign, where he had a goal and an assist. He was a huge part of the Bakersfield Condors as well, as he had 14 goals and 39 points in 52 games as their captain.
It seems more likely than not that Malone will clear waivers and head back to Bakersfield to start the year. However, if the Oilers end up getting a string of injuries this campaign, don't be surprised to see him get a call-up.
