Florida Panthers Place 2 Players on Waivers
The Florida Panthers have made two cuts to their training camp roster, as Zac Dalpe and Anthony Bitetto have been placed on waivers.
Dalpe only played in one game for the Panthers last season, but he was quite an effective scorer with the Charlotte Checkers. In 68 games with the AHL squad on the year, he scored a notable 30 goals and recorded nine helpers. He was clearly a big part of the Checkers' offense last season, so the Panthers are hoping that the 32-year-old will clear waivers from here.
Bitetto, on the other hand, spent the entirety of this past season in the AHL. In 53 games split between the Hartford Wolf Pack and San Jose Barracuda, the 31-year-old scored six goals and recorded 17 points.
