Flyers Make Roster Move
The Philadelphia Flyers have made a roster move, sending down Louis Belpedio to the AHL.
Belpedio had been on the Flyers' NHL roster but has yet to make his season debut with the team. Instead, he has been a scratch, but he will now be receiving plenty of playing time back with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms from here.
Still, a demotion is never an easy thing for a player to receive, but he will now be aiming to put together a strong season with the Phantoms from here. He is coming off of a strong season with the Laval Rocket that saw him score 11 goals and record 30 points in 69 games. If he can replicate those totals for the Phantoms this season, he will be a huge part of their blueline. In fact, it also could be exactly what gets him called up again by the Flyers at some point during the year, too.
