Los Angeles Kings Forward Placed on IR

The Los Angeles Kings have placed Alex Iafallo on injured reserve.

Iafallo was injured during Monday's contest against the Detroit Red Wings and left the game early because of it. Jon Rosen also noted that Iafallo's injury is week-to-week, so the Kings will be without the 28-year-old for several games. 

With the Kings starting the year with an average 2-2-0 record, losing Iafallo is something that they certainly did not want to happen. The 28-year-old has also been off to an excellent start, as he has two goals and three assists in just four games. Here's to hoping everything during his recovery goes smoothly and he continues this kind of production once officially healthy.
