Minnesota Wild Forward Placed on Waivers
The Minnesota Wild have placed Brandon Baddock on waivers.
Baddock appeared in his first career NHL game last season with the Montreal Canadiens, where he recorded six hits. The 6-foot-3 winger is known for his tough style of play, and he showed a glimpse of that during his lone game with the Habs last season. Baddock also suited up in 28 games for the Iowa Wild, where he had an assist and 54 penalty minutes.
It seems unlikely that a team will claim Baddock. Assuming all goes according to plan on that front, the 27-year-old will continue to be an old-fashioned enforcer for Iowa.
