New Jersey Devils Forward Sent Down to AHL
Fresh off of being activated from injured reserve, Tyce Thompson has now been sent down to the AHL by the New Jersey Devils.
Thompson is coming off of an injury-riddled season that saw him only appear in 16 games with the Utica Comets. During them, he was quite effective, however, as he had six goals to go along with nine assists. Now that he is healthy, he will be aiming to once again be a prime contributor to the AHL squad but also remain healthy in the process.
Should Thompson have another strong year with the Comets, it could be enough for him to land more call-ups with the Devils this campaign. In nine career NHL games, he has one assist.
