New Jersey Devils Place 2 Players on Waivers
The New Jersey Devils have placed Andreas Johnsson and Brian Pinho on waivers.
Johnsson is a player who has the potential to grab attention while on the waiver wire. The 27-year-old is coming off of a season that saw him score 13 goals and record 35 points in 71 games. At his best, he can be a very solid third-line winger. With that, he is entering the final year of his deal, so teams with cap space could consider claiming him.
Pinho has two games of NHL experience on his resume and is likely to clear waivers. The 27-year-old center played in 27 games with the Hershey Bears last season, scoring eight goals and recording 17 points.
